We're happily married adventurers who strongly
believe that what matters the most in life is the stories that connect us.

We love the fact that we get a front row seat to your greatest joys. Whether it be the moment you say your vows, your celebration of graduating high school, or the heart and soul you've put into the business you've built - we get to freeze that moment for you so you can savor every second of it! And we're fortunate enough to get to do this together!! It simply doesn't get any better!
Karin
Eternal optimist, teller of stories, fun-lover, fan of emojis and rainbow colored candy sprinkles. You'll either find her exploring the world on a crazy adventure, or sitting on the couch in pajamas bingewatching Netflix. Either way - she's all in.
Karin loves people who care about others, and who are down to help a friend - or a stranger - in need. The human connection is her jam.
She loves the written word and Instagram, so when you read the stories on the blog, or see a post on Instagram - that's her!
She loves awkward dance moves, chocolate chip cookies, and confetti.
She believes laughter is romantic.

Roger
Outdoorsman, minimalist, practical, truth-seeker, problem solver, fan of adventure and coffee.
He's the other half of TenSixteen that stays a bit more behind the scenes. Roger isn't a fan of computers and emails, but enjoys being able to do all the things to ensure everything runs smoothly on a wedding or session day, and helping where he's needed most - even if that as simple as making the coffee or pumping the gas.
Most days you can find him working on a house project or outside working in the yard. He loves the freedom of the outdoors and discovering something or somewhere new.
Roger prefers the moments that are simple, honest, and real - which is also a great way to describe his photography style.

The trust built with the people we work with has nothing to do with Yelp reviews and professionally crafted emails. It is through building a genuine relationship where we can be ourselves and enjoy the experience wholeheartedly together - with laughter and friendship.
With over 13 years in business, we still remain close with the couples, graduates, and businesses we've grown to call friends.

Our business is a combination of us - our dreams, our love, our style and our passion - and because this business is based on a union, we named it after our own wedding date: 10/16
