ELIZABETH + BENNETT

Elizabeth & Benett met on Match.com, but quickly found out they lived in the same apartment complex. Bennett brought over his new kitten Zeus and won Elizabeth over.  In one word, their relationship was “easy”. They were both in education field and shared similar interests. They also both didn’t have family in Kansas City, so it gave them one more thing to bond over. They went to IHOP on their first date, and quite literally had the whole place to theirselves.  A year and a half later, Bennett proposed at Disney World during their first visit together. He was so nervous he couldn’t even wait to get in the parks!
The two were excited to get married September 2020, but in late spring they decided it was best to postpone the wedding due to covid. Their dream for their wedding in 2021 was to make sure the day was a big party for everyone. “Yes, the day was about us, but it was also about celebrating with friends and family from all over the country.”
And a party it was!!  Not only did their wedding day happen to take place on my (Karin) birthday, it was filled with SO MUCH JOY for the guests.  The excitement was pallapable.

Fun side note – we photographed Elizabeth’s senior photos!  We felt so honored that she chose us for not only those photos, but for her wedding day as well! <3One of Elizabeth & Bennet’s favorite parts of the day was “All of the time Bennett and I were able to spend together during the wedding day.”  The reason they were able to have a wonderful amount of time together that day was thanks to their decision to do a first look.  The day goes by so fast, and every moment of time you get to spend together is the best thing you can do for being fully present in the moment together!Their ceremony was on the rootop of Ameristar in St.Louis and their reception was in the swanky Ryse Nightclub inside the Ameristar.  It was such a cool event space!First Dance Song: Taylor Swift with Sean Mendez- Lover“We really looked forward to the reception, as it was a big celebration with friends and family. It lived up to our expectations and more!”  This group was such a blast!A magical end to a magical day!
