TIFFANY + CHAS

Although the two had previously known each other, it all really started when they were paired up at the Back the Blue golf tournament on August 5, 2017. During that round, they quickly realized they had a lot more in common than just golf!  In one word – they both thought “wow!” They were both physically attracted to one another at first, but the real attraction was how much fun they had together.

The two make a great team. The amount of love and respect they have for one another certainly doesn’t go unnoticed. The respect and appreciation they have for each other is something they are committed to working on keeping for a lifetime. Tiffany would do anything for Chas and Chas would do anything for Tiffany.

The two dated for 3 years.  There were so many moments within those years that they knew they were building something special, but there were also specific moments where they knew they’d found “the one”.
“I fell in love with Chas a long time ago, but the one thing I remember so clear is the moment I knew I was going to marry him. I was kneeling by the bed saying my prayers and he walked in and saw me, knelt down, grabbed my hand and started praying with me. Since then, we’ve been praying together every single night. That’s when I knew, without a doubt, I was going to marry him.”
“I have known Tiff was “the one” for a very long time now. One specific time when I remember thinking “I’m going to marry her” was when I saw her with her new niece Cora for the first time. This led me to thinking about how we will hopefully have kids one day and that I was ready to spend the rest of my life with her. I started looking for rings shortly after.”

After choosing an engagement ring, Chas had an opportunity to travel to London for work. Chas knew Tiffany was obsessed with the city of Paris, more specifically the Eiffel Tower, so he planned to make a vacation out of it and that take advantage of this perfect moment for the proposal. The two travelled to Munich, Germany followed by Paris, France.  Tiffany kept insisting on a couple’s photoshoot in the city. Chas acted reluctant to throw Tiffany off, knowing deep down this would be perfect for the proposal. September 7, 2019 the two were having a magical photoshoot, and standing in front of the Eiffel Tower with a crowd of people watching, Chas got down on one knee and asked Tiffany to marry him! She turned around and saw Chas on one knee and before he had a chance to finish asking, she attacked him with a “YES!”, hug, and kiss. It was a true fairytale proposal.

Tiffany and Chas were originally supposed to get married on 10/17/20 at Knollcrest in Burfordville, MO. “We ended up canceling due to COVID19 because we didn’t want our family and friends to travel and be forced to stay in a hotel during this time. As October was approaching, we were both getting emotional about not getting married this year. Chas knew I always dreamed of a big wedding, so he was being supportive. I finally said I was sick of waiting and ready to be married and Chas said, let’s get married then. We initially discussed getting married with our parents at the church then doing a dinner with our family after. Well, that was on a Sunday night and by Tuesday we booked Greene Gables and the bridesmaid were ordering dresses. The fact that we were able to plan a real wedding in 3 weeks made us appreciate it even more. It got to the point where we didn’t care about things being perfect. We were ready to be married and didn’t want to wait. At the end of the day an elaborate wedding didn’t mean anything to us. We wanted to be married and we wanted our family and closest friends there. Everything else just fell into place.”

As Tiffany shares – everything certainly did fall into place perfectly!  We were so excited Tiffany and Chas found us and that we happened to have a rare, chance opening.  This day was photo – and real life – magic.  The quintecential dream wedding day.  Enjoy this look at Tiffany and Chas’s wedding day!

We had not had the opportunity to photograph at the Greene Gables Inn before, but WOW.  We were blown away.  It’s perfectly manicured and such a high end feel in the middle of a small town.  Their team does a fantastic job running events, so if you are looking for somewhere great to have your wedding, this is the place!Yes, these two are insanely good looking.  Tiffany you look like a movie star! Two days before the wedding, something bit Chas on the face. Of course, this led to his face swelling and his cheek was the size of a baseball. He had to go to urgent care and the swelling didn’t go down until Friday evening (the night before the wedding!)  Fortunately you couldn’t tell on the wedding day and he looked great.Yes, the way these two look at one another will absolutely melt your heart. When people discuss a first look, I can’t tell you how many times we hear “I’m worried it will take away from the moment I walk down the aisle.”  NOTHING takes away from that moment.  Tiffany and Chas can attest to this as Chas’s favorite moment of the day was seeing Tiffany come down the aisle and Tiffany’s favorite moment was seeing Chas tear up when he saw her.  It didn’t matter that they had seen one another before that moment.  That was still the moment she walked to him to say their vows in front of family and friends, and it absolutely took his breath away. The most anticipated moment the two looked forward to was saying their vows. “It definitely lived up to our expectations (besides the part where Chas kept bending his knees to ensure he didn’t lock up and pass out).”My favorite moment of every wedding day. Seeing that relief and joy as a couple are cheered for as they walk down the aisle as husband and wife is a moment to cherish always.  In one word – it is 100% “HAPPY”!
It was also the bride and groom’s favorite memory!Being in business as many years as we have, we’ve seen A LOT of toasts.  This one by Tiffany’s sister DEFINITELY was one we won’t forget. It was an all out production.Chas’s Best Man had to follow this and I think was a bit worried how he’d be able to live up to it, but needless to say he killed it.Second favorite part of a wedding day is – when we can – taking the bride and groom for some golden hour photos.  We can’t always do this, but when we do the bride and groom are always so much more relaxed at this point and able to exhale and enjoy it.

“Due to COVID we had to cut our guestlist in half, which allowed us to have a chance to talk to everyone at the wedding and spend more time with them. Considering we planned the wedding in 3 weeks, we have no complaints. We’re just thankful everything worked out. For other couples getting married in 2020 having to alter plans because of COVID, focus more on getting married to the person you love and less on making it a large, extravagant wedding. If debating on moving forward with something small, or rescheduling for a large reception, we suggest going with something small. At the end of the day, it’s all about marrying the one you love and not about the ceremony or reception.”
