The two met back in high school. They shared the same classes – Kourtney was a sophomore and Brian was a junior. In the beginning, she never saw herself with Brian. He kept asking her out, and she just kept on rejecting him. Then one day something told her to just go to lunch with him once, and maybe he would leave me alone after that. Much to her surprise, they instantly clicked. She agreed to go on a date with him – Pizza and bowling. Then nearly 5 years later at a completely different type of date – a formal holiday work party – Brian asked her a question again, but this time it was to be his wife.
The two said “I do” on June 15th, in a beautiful small town ceremony in Shipman IL followed by a reception in Carlinville. The rain was coming down in the morning, but luckily the skies cleared before the ceremony and they ended up having a perfect day.

MORE ABOUT THE DAY:
• Most memorable moment of the day: I would have to Say Brian and I’s first dance. We recorded vows and said them over our song for our guest and ourselves to hear and it was the absolute perfect moment and by far my favorite memory of the day! (Special thanks to JR from Epic Entertainment for giving us access to the vows they recorded! We loved being able to use their words as part as their video!)

• If you could do it all over, would you change anything? Nope! Our day was absolutely perfect. Although we definitely could have gone without the rain the morning of, but it ended up turning into a beautiful day and I’m pretty sure I heard somewhere that it’s goodluck for it to rain on your wedding day!
