Maegan + Trey

Maegan first noticed Trey on social media. They started talking and she invited him over to her house for a birthday party. Without a doubt there was an instant connection. On their first date, Trey was driving to the Italian restaurant they were headed to and played the song Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran. Maegan replied how much she liked the song, and four years laterite was the song they danced their first dance as husband and wife to. On August 30th, 2017 Trey was home from Japan on leave. They had dinner at her favorite restaurant (Cheesecake Factory) and as he opened the car door for her she saw a framed collage of photos they had taken over the years together with a space in the middle that said “Maegan will you marry me?” By the time she turned around, Trey was on one knee asking her to be his wife. On May 27th, 2018 she became just that. The two had a beautiful ceremony and reception in St.Louis surrounded with their closest family and friends. The support and love from the guests was palpable as they cheered them on with tears of joy. These two are without a doubt blessed. Their parents are such a strong example of indestructible, gracious love to build their marriage after, and the encouragement and nurture of their family are the perfect foundation for the years ahead.

FROM THE BRIDE + GROOM:

WHAT WAS THE MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT OF YOUR DAY?
I would say the most memorable moment was our first look. That feeling of seeing your future husband for the first time staring right in front of you. It was also my very first time seeing Trey in his blues in person which made it more special.

ADVICE FOR FUTURE BRIDE/GROOMS
For us the “first look” was a more personal way for us to see each other for the first time. It wasn’t as stressful as it would have been during the ceremony. We would recommended this for future bride and grooms.

FUNNIEST MEMORY FROM YOUR WEDDING DAY
My (Trey) funniest memory is when my mother went on the dance floor and was dancing to the song Proud Mary. My family is very quiet not outgoing at all, so it was very surprising and funny to see her up there, but I was very happy to see her having fun.

SONGS:
Thinking out loud-Ed Sheeran (first dance)
Mother like mine-The band Perry (mother son dance)
Daddy dance with me- Krystal Keith (father daughter)

We think you will LOVE to see more of Maegan + Trey’s day, so check out the slideshow below!
