Lindsey & Greg were married on a warm Saturday in late August. The sun was shining, the birds were chirping, and a gentle breeze swept through the grasses and the trees. It was just as they had hoped for, and it was beautiful. There is nothing more amazing than witnessing a bride walking towards her future, or a groom watching the woman he’ll grow old with as she steps towards him. It’s so simple, yet so much lies under the surface. Memories of what was and what will be, not exactly the beginning, but definitely the start. It’s love. And it is beautiful. Enjoy Lindsey & Greg’s wedding day.

Pre Bridal sessions were a staple of wedding photography in years past. A portrait of the bride would be displayed at the wedding reception and would then adorn a wall in the bride’s family home. Modern day Pre Bridal sessions have often been replaced with Trash the Dress sessions where brides can get down and dirty and get more unique looks without having to worry about ruining their dress. Either way you look at it, any excuse to wear your wedding dress beyond just the day of is a good one. I personally love a pre bridal session as it gives a soon to be bride the opportunity to basically have a trial run before the wedding day. Jessica’s pre bridal helped her fine tune her birdcage veil and figure out some issues with her dress, but the best part was that it put her at ease on her wedding day.
There’s just something about a small town, down home wedding that is quaint and charming. It just feels a little like coming home. Even if you didn’t grown up in a small town, you probably can remember having to be home when the street lights came on, Sunday suppers, church potlucks, and all the comforts of simplicity. Katie & Ray’s wedding day had that feel. The guests were all family – and not just the blood kind. I mean the kind that if you needed a hand remolding your house they’d be there, if you were sick they’d come by with a casserole. The music during the ceremony was provided by guests singing from the hymnals, the appetizers at the reception were made by the bride and her mother, and the theme… was love. Enjoy Katie & Ray’s wedding.
Mary & Chris (aka Sulli) are at the core – best friends. You can see it in the way they look at one another. They’d searched for the one in life, and it maybe took a little longer for them to find each other. So when they did, they held on tight and are a constant reminder to the other of how lucky they are and how blessed one is to marry their closest, deepest friend. The one who accepts you just as you are, and loves you unconditionally. Mostly – the two are happiest when they are around the other. They laugh louder, speak sweeter, smile bigger, radiate brighter, and party harder. It’s a real, true love. Enjoy their beginning!!
He calms her. She gets nervous or excited and just with his presence she relaxes. He’s shy, but with her by his side he finds refuge and understanding. They’ve been together since they were kids, so they know one another like the back of their hands. But somehow when she walks in the room it’s like it’s the first time they’d met. He nurtures her and makes certain she’s provided and cared for, even if it’s just with a glance across a crowded room to make sure she’s happy. She respects him, valuing his needs and encouraging his dreams, even if it’s just with the way she listens when he talks or laughs at his jokes. In their contrasts they find balance and stability, and in their hearts they find home. Their love is unfading and timeless – and this is only the beginning… Enjoy Paige & Ryan’s wedding day.
