Lindsay & Neil {married}

It’s pretty easy to see a couple’s love on their wedding day. The day is all wrapped up in love, it’s all about love. Love of a family, love of friends, love of faith, and the reason you are there – love of a couple. But on the moments in between, the moments when no one is watching, the moments that reflect love the deepest, sometimes you see it and sometimes it’s not as easily found. On Lindsay & Neil’s day the moments in between were hot. As in sweltering 107 degree temperatures outside hot. They took it in stride with smiles on their faces, but by the reception it had all caught up with Lindsay. There were guests to mingle with, cheers to be had, and much partying to do – but Lindsay sat sick in the walk in cooler of the kitchen area. And right by her side, patiently helping her was Neil. He could have mingled, cheers’d, and partied, but instead he provided comfort and strength where it was needed most. U true testament to the couples character, they got through it together, lifted one another up, and ended up enjoying the rest of the night. They still mingled, still cheers’d, still partied – and they did it all together. The theme for the summer may be “hot”, but the theme for the day… was true love. Enjoy Lindsay & Neil’s wedding day!

Allison & Nate {married}

From the very beginning we knew this wedding would be a very big deal. We knew it would be surrounded with joyful friends and compassionate family. We knew that the details of the day would be exquisite, the music festive, the palate delectable, and the ambiance enchanting. What we DIDN’T know was even more appealing than what we did. Like how Allison was glowing when she stepped out of the limo and on cloud nine the entire day, or how when Allison would see her dad for the first time that day they would both shed tears of joy, or that when Allison’s parents would escort her down the aisle Nate would gaze at her with barely a breath whisper “Wow.”. Sometimes it’s the things you never expected that leave you astonished and with a smile from ear to ear and with memories that will last a lifetime. It was a day that wedding magazines and blogs are written for, an example of elegance, tenderness, and devotion. Enjoy Allison and Nate’s Wedding Day!!!!

Chelsey & Derek {Wedding Day}

Some couples have a love that everyone sees. That is so vibrant, that has such a spark that it can’t be missed. Chelsey & Derek have that kind of love. He adores her with every part of his soul. When he looks at her, when he kisses the very tip of her nose, when he grabs her and tells her he loves her for no reason at all. The way she respects him, is loyal to him, the way she can’t wait to grow old with him by her side. This is visible by just being around this couple. They are dynamic and cheerful by themselves, but together they have something magical. And their wedding day was polished, and radiant just like them! Enjoy Chelsey & Derek’s wedding day!!!

Lindsay & Tyler {married}

Lindsay & Tyler are that sweet young couple, fresh and wide-eyed, happily in love. They are best friends and while it’s easy to see how in love they are – it’s even more easy to imagine them in love even at 90. The faces may change and their bodies will age, but the way he makes her smile, or the way he looks at her and you can see how taken he is with her will never fade. It’s a timeless love that legends are made of, and on 6/16/12 Lindsay walked down the aisle towards her future. Enjoy the beginning of a Happily Ever After…

Amy & Todd {Married}

It’s a fabulous thing when a stranger chooses you to capture your wedding day. The only thing better, is when a friend asks you. It’s such an honor when one of your most favorite people on the planet trusts you to be a part of such a special day. Knowing the couple’s relationship, getting the “We’re engaged!!!!” text, first hand watching the planning, texting and emailing about ideas, watching your friends dreams become reality – and then being there to capture it all is absolutely priceless. With this privilege comes a significant amount of categorical, unequivocal, irrefutable fear. We want to do an amazing job for every single couple we photograph, but the nature of photographing friends is a unique experience that brings a level of self critique and over analyzing. Representing their love story with photos, providing them with their legacy to show their children, grandchildren, etc. is always our job – but for friends it is also our gift, so it has to be extra special. As special as this amazing couple is to us! Enjoy the beautiful day of Amy & Todd!!
