When we met Natalie last year at her brother’s senior session I immediately said to Roger “they better call us back when it’s his sister’s turn!” and thankfully – they did!! Natalie has an amazing look, can work the camera like a pro, and is a complete head turner – yet she’s humble, doesn’t take herself too seriously, and is the quintessential girl next door beauty queen. Natalie braved through the cold morning with us and she made our day with her mad modeling skills and her sweet personality. Enjoy a few from Natalie’s Senior Session!!

We have known him since Kindergarten. I distinctly remember this boy walking up to me and starting a conversation with me like an adult would. When my son Curtis walked up a little later I asked him “What grade is that boy in?” and he looked at me confused and said “He’s in my class Mom!” and grabbed his lunchbox and walked away from me annoyed. He’s always been the mature one. When my son was burning microwave meals, Josh was grilling steaks. He’s always been the tall one and my son the short one. Kind of like The Odd Couple, their contrasts have created a beautiful dynamic that has made their friendship last throughout the past 12 years – even when we moved an hour away. I’m so lucky that my son has a friend like Josh in his life, and if I could design someone to be his friend throughout life – it would certainly be him. Now a senior in high school, he’s grown up to be even more amazing than we expected him to be and we know that his future is filled with happiness and success. Now before I start crying – enjoy a few of our favorites from Josh’s senior photo shoot!!
Zach is a adorable high school senior from Collinsville High School. I don’t know how we get so lucky, but we definitely get to photograph the most amazing seniors! They are always a joy to be around, and they always leave Roger and I asking the same question – how come we didn’t have it that together when we were seniors? Zach is incredibly sweet and intelligent, and his future is extremely bright. We thoroughly enjoyed spending time with Zach while capturing his senior session! Enjoy a few of our favorites!!
We’ve known Ciara for a few years now after we had the opportunity to photograph her back in 2009. So when her mom contacted us about senior photos, I immediately did the math over and over to try to figure out how it could be possible that Ciara could be a senior in high school. Any way you add it up, time goes too quickly. It seems as though becoming a teenager turns into graduating with a blink of an eye. It’s an honor to be chosen to capture this time in a young person’s life. Capturing who they are before they embark on college and then real life. These are the days as adults we look back on with endearment – wishing all those fun times could be felt once again. And it’s easy to remember all the joys of youth just by looking at your high school senior photo. It’s a time you never want to forget, so we are honored to capture it – and honored that one of the people that chose us to capture it was Ciara. Enjoy a handful from her amazing senior session!
If you think you are having deja vu, you are not. Quincy’s senior session got broken into two parts thanks to our wonderful sweltering summer weather. If you missed the first portion of her session at the fair, that was dumb… go check it out! If you feel excited because you get to see more of Quincy, well I wouldn’t blame you. She’s pretty fierce with her photo taking prowess, and she is just plain fun to be around. I believe that anything Quincy puts her mind to – she’s going to do, so we can’t wait to see where life takes her! Or rather, where she takes life!! Enjoy a few more photos from Quincy’s second session!!
