Amanda and Brian chose the 4th of July as their wedding day, and you can’t think 4th of July in St.Louis without thinking about the Arch. So in true STL style, the couple chose The Hyatt Regency at The Arch which is a gorgeous venue with sweeping views of the Gateway Arch and the riverfront! Although the fair usually takes place on the Arch grounds, the renovation project moved the location of the fair to Forest Park this year. Logistically for our purposes, this worked out better – but I know they were a bit disappointed that there wouldn’t be an amazing fireworks display during their reception. But that was certainly a minor detail, and the most important part of this day was the part where they got married. This part was SO important… that they did it twice!! Wanting a official ceremony in a church AND a ceremony on the Hyatt’s rooftop, Amanda and Brian opted for a private morning ceremony at their church, and a lavish evening ceremony at sunset on the rooftop. And the entire day could not have been more perfect. The weather, the blue skies and the white puffy clouds, the details, and the love added up to an incredible wedding of epic proportion.
Because this day was so full with activities and fun, the couple have a TON of images that document it! So while I’d love to go on and on describing everything at length, in this instance I think it’s better to let the photos do the talking!! 😉 Enjoy Amanda & Brian’s wedding!!
We were able to capture a few quick shots after their ceremony and could not have loved the location more!! So fun!
They kept the morning ceremony attire fairly casual, and saved the “big stuff” for the evening ceremony. How fun is it to get ready twice on your wedding day and have 2 different looks?
How utterly adorable is this photo!?! Love it Amanda!
The couple had a sweet first look on the rooftop of the Hyatt and it couldn’t have been more perfect!
Work it out boys.
Crazy about this image!!!
Pretty much in love with all of Amanda’s images, but these 3 really take the cake!
After some fun photos out and about in St.Louis, we headed back to the Hyatt for their evening rooftop ceremony.
Are these two cute or what!?!
Amanda and Brian had so many fun, unique details! From their signature drink, to their upside-down wedding cake – every thing they envisioned was perfectly “them”!
Despite the fact that the fireworks were moved, we did see an amazing display off the river. It was the perfect ending to the perfect day!
Amanda and Brian, thank you so very much for choosing TenSixteen to capture your day! Roger and I thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent getting to know you, your families, and your wedding party and we loved every aspect about your day and your love!! We are grateful for the opportunity and are in love with the images we were able to create thanks to your thoughtfulness on timeline! Congrats and cheers to a lifetime of love!!
