Erin & Jason {married}

Many girls dream about planning their wedding. They envision their flowers, and their dress. Plan their bridesmaids, and their guest list. Imagine their groom waiting at the end of the aisle as their daddy sadly gives them away. Their fairytale cannot come soon enough! When Erin planned her wedding she dreamt of one thing – becoming Jason’s wife. The details of all that was involved was not her forte and as for some brides out there, it just wasn’t her thing. And major setbacks didn’t help in the feelings of planning bliss. Like for instance the fact that their reception venue endured water damage and wouldn’t be repaired before their wedding. That’s a major ordeal for a couple planning a wedding, but it’s a enormous deal for a couple who’s wedding is 2 months away!! But they rolled with the punches and reminded themselves that at the end of the day, all that mattered was that they became husband and wife. The rest was just details. Enjoy Erin & Jason’s wedding day – filled with love and the rest of the details!!

Kelsey & Justin {engaged}

Her cousin went on and on about this guy he was friends with named Justin, and how Kelsey should meet him because he was certain they’d hit it off. The opportunity finally presented itself and Kelsey distinctly recalls her initial reaction being “Who is this super annoying guy?” He however believes it was love at first sight. However annoying he may have seemed didn’t matter, because Kelsey had a boyfriend so she never gave it a second thought. Time passed and and Kelsey eventually became single, and then one day Justin showed up on her front door step, and now 7 years later – they’ve been together ever since.

Jennifer & Ned {engaged}

Jennifer & Ned went to school together their entire lives. Hanging out in the same circles, but never dating. Mutual friends would tell Jennifer that Ned liked her and that she should go out with him, but she would dismiss the notion because she treasured their friendship and never wanted to lose that. During college Jennifer found herself newly single, and there was Ned – right there waiting. He’d been patiently waiting as if he knew it would eventually happen. And happen it did. They dated for about a year and then had some time apart. Admittedly, it may not be the way it happens in fairytales. Real life isn’t perfect, but sometimes puts two people perfectly back together. And that’s just what happened. No one else got her like he did. No one else looked at him like she did. And together the two decided to make a go of it again, and this time it would never end.

Stacy - LOVE THIS!!!
Recently we help a family reunion at our home. It was very stressful and the planning and cleaning and cooking was overwhelming. After the day was over and everyone had gone home, my husband and children talked about all the funny moments on the front porch and laughed the night away. It made all the stress well worth it!!

BRAD - This summer after watching an episode of So You Think You Can Dance, my wife was doing the dishes and I challenged her to a dance off. lol. Right there in the kitchen, we danced our butts off and laughed so hard we couldn’t breathe. We both know I was the winner, and if she says differently she’s a liar!!

Jessie - My husband and I rented a motorcycle a few weeks ago and spent the weekend driving on the back roads and stopping at little markets and diners. It was like we didn’t have a care in the world!!

Ashlee - My 7 year old and I were trying to take some self portraits with my new camera. I kept setting the timer and running in the photo before the timer went off. About the 5th photo in, while running to her to get in the photo I fell flat on my face. After the shock wore off for both of us we sat there (or in my case laid there) and laughed. The photos are extra special to me now even though none turned out.
Love the contest – made me smile!!

Megan S. - My husband and I recently celebrated our 5 year anniversary. We spent the day working and barely saw one another. That evening we drank wine and popped popcorn and watched our video that you guys did for us. It was the perfect ending to the day!!

Kari & David {married}

I wouldn’t say they are opposites – because the connotation sounds conflicting and disagreeing. I would say that their differences compliment the other perfectly – one picks up where the other leaves off without effort. Both have many similarities as well, both are kind and loving, cherish their families, and both are just plain adorable. They love one another wholeheartedly, and look out for one another in a caring and involved way. Their connection is true and unfaltering, so it was no question why we were so excited when Kari contacted us with the news that she and David were engaged. Having the pleasure of capturing her brother’s wedding a couple years ago, we always enjoy working with familiar people. When those people just happen to be kind to boot – you know it’s going to be a great day! Without disappointment, it was a flawless, laid-back, joyful day – one that you have to check out!! Enjoy Kari & David’s wedding day!!
