Their sisters were friends and INSISTED they needed to date. Jenna blew it off. “I don’t even know him” Jenna said when coaxed. Life went on and the prodding subsided and Jenna forgot about her sister’s insistence on dating her friend’s brother. A few months later, Paul had bought a home and happened to see Jenna’s photo on a bank billboard as a loan officer. Thinking she was good looking, he figured “I’ll get my home loan from her!” When he walked in the door, she saw him and immediately grabbed her phone to tell her sister Mollie that she was pretty sure Ann’s brother was there and “he is CUTE!”. They managed to keep it professional during the home loan process and never made any headway on dating, but not too long after they saw one another out one night. They exchanged numbers and by the time the next weekend rolled around they met up again. They talked throughout the night until the sun came up and everything just fell into place. Even to this day, they still can sit and talk for hours just enjoying one another’s company.
The day after Valentine’s day this year, Paul and Jenna had a weekend getaway in St.Louis. They had planned for dinner and shopping around St.Louis and to stay the weekend at a hotel and relax. What Jenna hadn’t planned for as she was gazing out at the Mississippi River, was that when Paul asked if he could ask her something and she turned to him that he would be standing there with a ring asking her to marry him. After some jumping up and down and some happy tears, she of corse said yes!!
The couple will be married next year on the same date they were engaged, 2/15!!! Enjoy a little peek at their beautiful engagement session!!!
