CIERRA + AARON

They met through a mutual friend. After a few months of convincing, they finally agreed to meet. Their first date was at Fire and smoke. There was never an awkward silence, and the conversation was smooth and fluid.
Aaron’s first reaction- Dang she’s Hottt! Cierra’s- is he actually 25???

They dated 3.5 years, when one day on the way to stl where Cierra was surprising Aaron with a cardinal game – Aaron was surprising Cierra with an engagement. The whole way there Aaron was planning on improvising with the restaurant staff, but when they were close to the city Cierra pulled out cardinal jerseys and said “we’re going to the game!!”. He immediately was trying to figure out how to get a ring box through the metal detectors. Once they pulled up to the park Aaron decided to ask in private just the 2 of them. When she turned to look at him he was standing with an open box and a ring.

They planned a fall wedding at Bretz Winery in Carlyle where they could bring people together, in a casual, comfortable environment. It was a beautiful, sunny day – just like the two of them. Enjoy a peek at Cierra and Aaron’s wedding day!
Cierra looked most forward to this moment – when Aaron would see her for the first time in her dress. Both were so nervous and excited in anticipation, but the reaction was priceless, and immediately after their nerves melted away.Cierra walked down the aisle to “Feels like home”- Chantal Kreviazuk If you ever question if a first look takes anything away from the moment you walk down the aisle, check out Aaron’s reaction and know it can actually be even more meaningful because your nerves are less and you are able to be more fully present in the moment. The moment Aaron looked most forward to? “you nay now kiss the bride” yes!Cierra made ALL THE DESSERTS for the reception. Like in the middle of wedding preparing – she made the desserts. Such a keeper.FIrst Dance Song: “My person”-Spencer CrandallWhen your photographers asks you to spend 15 minutes with them during your reception for Golden Hour – never say no!So there’s a thing going around on tiktok where the DJ plays 1 song and the bride and groom have to make it around to get a photo with each table of guests before the song ends. 1000% this is a FUN idea!!  When couples have asked us to accommodate this we always encourage the couple to use an iPhone rather than a professional camera for 3 main reasons – 1. it’s faster. There is no way we could adjust our lighting and settings for every table and get it done in the amount of time needed 2. People know what to do when they see an iPhone. When people see a big professional camera they clam up and ask for directions. The point is to make it fun, and people are much more accustomed to doing that for an iPhone. 3rd – you have your images right then.  You won’t have to wait on your photographer to deliver them and can send and share the images right away!Cierra and Aaron’s dancefloor was PACKED.  It felt sentimental to get a birds-eye view of everyone having fun and so filled with joy.  There simply aren’t enough moments in life when large groups of people are this happy, connected, and optimistic.  What a wonderfully perfect way to start a marriage being uplifted and surrounded with love.

Cierra and Aaron’s advice for future brides and grooms – Work together on planning this event it’s not all the bride’s responsibility. Also start booking things as soon as you can. But mainly remember to soak it all in as it’s happening.

The two are planning to honeymoon in Switzerland in February of 2023 and look forward to a lifetime of memories… and babies. 🙂
