Now we probably need to forwarn you… this is a HUGE post with alot to take in. It was SO incredible to see everything come together the way it did and this wedding had WAY to much character to leave anything out, so bear with us and just enjoy all of the colors, detail, and charm.
The flowers provided by Main Street Florist in Carlinville were INCREDIBLE!!! I could NOT get over how gorgeous they all were and what an amazing vision Sarah has. Just jaw dropping.
Speaking of jaw dropping… Anna you are amazing.
Some people will say that all the laughter and joy in these photos shows the personalities of everyone. I like to think it shows that Roger and I are really funny.
OHHHHHH snap. Derek, your handsomeness is KILLING ME!! Loved the green shirt vs that traditional white and just have to say that Anna is just as lucky as Derek is, because not only handsome, he’s a really down to Earth, funny, amazing man.
Some of our favorite family photos of all time. All the individuals involved are loved and show love without abandon.
The day had really turned around once we started photographing. The sun was shining, the light was gorgeous, everyone was in a great mood and just when things didn’t seem like they could get any better…
we fell in love with the day even more.
While reciting their self written wedding vows, the amount of emotion was tangible. 100% one of my most favorite wedding day memories ever.
If you think these two are magical individually, you should see them together!
LOVED the place cards and that the table numbers were named after country songs. Karin & Roger Doolin at table “Fishing in the Dark”? Yes Please!!!
All the gorgeous glassware and arrangements were also done by Main Street Florist. I’m telling you – Carlinville is where it’s at!! If you’ve never been here you are MISSING OUT!!
Gina… if you and Tom ever need a place to stay, you are ALWAYS welcome at our house. Just bring your cupcakes.
And if they weren’t clever enough with all of their wedding day ideas, they turned a barn area into a old time photo booth equipped with props and clothing. Martha Stewart eat your heart out!!!
Not a dry eye in the house during the father daughter dance. I still get chills thinking about it. Anna is so blessed.
Anna & Derek – we’ll admit we were nervous as the rain was coming down on the day of and days prior to the wedding day. What we feared could turn into a disaster turned into one of the most remarkable, unforgettable, and enchanting events we’ve ever been lucky enough to attend. We are so happy to show you your day, as I am sure with all of the work, effort, and last minute stressing due to Mother Nature it went by too quickly to even remember it all. You both are incredible individuals, and coupled with your family, friends, and the amount of strength in your love – you have the ability to have the life that people dream about. Thank you SO much for letting us capture your day and your love.
Now, even though we fit alot into this blog, there is still so much more you haven’t seen! SO check out their slideshow and enjoy!!
