When one of your best friends growing up asks you to photograph her daughter’s senior photos – there is no question this will be a sentimental experience. I can remember Katelyn’s mom Stacey’s senior photos so clearly. I was super jealous because she was able to get her bangs to the perfect height and had her photo with the raddest wicker chair. Goodness senior photos have changed. And thank the Lord.
Getting to hang out with an old friend and her daughter for an afternoon was such a treat, but getting the opportunity to photograph Katelyn was the icing on the cake. She’s a gorgeous girl and the camera loves her. She can pull of any look or expression, and fell easily into posing. I felt like we were shooting for Americas Next Top Model!! The weather was a he challenge at the beginning of the session and we feared we were going to be rained out. But we stuck it out in covered areas and waited for the storms to pass. And when they did it opened up cool opportunities with reflections and textures that added to the session.
A huge thank you to Katelyn and her mom for allowing us to capture such important photos in Kateyln’s life. We hope the memories of the session and images are as special to you both as they are to us!!
Enjoy a sneak peek at this GORGEOUS girl’s senior photos!!!
