For the majority of photographers, Jan., Feb., and March are time for a long winter’s nap. The busy season has came and went and now it’s time to revive and regroup before the busy time starts all over again. While there is no winter’s nap any time soon in our future, we did have a week long joyus break that was SO SO rewarding. Colorado or the west in general is where Roger and I go to feel peace. Our souls belong there. It is where we hope to retire someday. Everyone has a place that in their hearts is their dream, I thought I’d share ours. Hope you enjoy!
Kansas. So what it’s flat. It’s so untouched and gorgeous. You can’t get sunsets like this anywhere else.
Our view from our cabin at 11,000 feet. Breathtaking. No literally – there is like no oxygen at this height.
The pool – yes I said pool. It was heated, but I wasn’t brave enough to try it.
OK seriously, it’s not a good post if there is no food. And this was one of my favorite parts of the whole trip. Can you smell them?
Breckenridge where my boys skied.
Keystone where they night ski. PS – there are very cute snowboarders out there. I’m just sayin.
and finally – a postcard for you from Colorado – because I’m nice like that. On the back I wrote “greetings from Colorado! The temps are warmer here than you are having at home. Ha ha! We are enjoying hot chocolate by the fire and naps with my Snuggie. Miss you!”
Big stuff coming this week! Stay tuned my friends.
