Shilpa + Mike {Indian Wedding Ceremony}

We looked forward to Shilpa and Mike’s wedding day from the moment we booked the wedding, and with each interaction with the couple the anticipation grew. We cannot say enough wonderful things about this couple.  They are both two of the most charming, kind, gracious, magnetic, and gorgeous people we’ve ever met and when you hear their friends and family speak about the two you’ll hear the exact same sentiments expressed.  They are truly special in every way.  A wedding day for two such people is clearly going to be fantastic, but there were some other aspects that made their wedding day extra special.  First, it would be our first Hindu wedding we have every had the opportunity to photograph, and we greatly enjoy something so colorful and unique.  Secondly, Shilpa and Mike had hired an amazing team of wedding professionals, so we knew everything was going to be aesthetically beautiful and flawlessly done.  Thirdly, not only would this day include an Indian wedding, but it also included a Catholic ceremony on the same day!!  You rarely hear of both taking place in one day, so it made for a exciting day!  It would certainly be the most we’d ever photographed in one day as it was essentially 2 full weddings.  By 10am we had captured as many images as we typically do in an entire wedding day!!  So it is easy to imagine that we would have a PLETHORA of images for they blog post.  With so many images we want to share of their day we didn’t want to try to jam everything in one overwhelming post, so we’ve decided to separate their day into 3 different blog posts – The Hindu Ceremony, The Catholic Ceremony, and The Reception.
We are incredibly excited to share the Indian Ceremony with you today!!  Enjoy!!
