They went to different High Schools, but they worked together at the local Dierbergs grocery store. She had a huge crush on him. (As much as you can have a crush on someone in khakis and a uniform) They were friendly to one another – he would always make her laugh. Life moved on. He went away to college and then she went away the following year. Life may have sent them different directions, but it brought those directions completely back together one fate filled night at The Dubliner on Washington Ave. Both there on separate birthday parties, Erin was casually talking to a guy that all her friends liked when she spotted Adam across the room. Mid sentence she walked directly to Adam to say hello. They talked through the night, and even though he got her number and asked her to come over the next day to watch The Walking Dead – she didn’t expect anything assuming he didn’t see her more than a friendship. But when she walked up to his loft that Sunday, Adam was outside waiting for her and made it very clear he that he was not just looking to hang out as pals. To this day Sundays are their favorite day to go out on a date! Through Adam’s support, Erin eventually decided to leave her job and become a teacher. It meant putting a hold on future plans, and even though she badly wanted to get married, she understood this would put things off for awhile. But just like thinking that Adam was only interested in a friendship, Erin was wrong once again. During a walk through City Garden looking at a random and awful statue, she turned around and Adam was on one knee asking Erin to be his wife. While she was so excited and nervous that she can’t remember what all he said, she quickly said yes! Erin and Adam will be promising forever this New Years Eve and look forward to celebrating with family and friends! Enjoy a sneak peek at their gorgeous engagement session!
