Boogalo was both Molly and Kyel’s favorite restaurant, and one night it just so happened that they were both there on the same night. They’d both been there before, and it just so happened that this night would be special. They couldn’t have known they would meet the person they’d spend forever with that very night, but sometimes the best things in life are the unexpected surprises.
She loved how polite he was to the bartender, and how genuine his smile is. He instantly won her over. They talked until closing time, and decided to go out on a date the very next evening. When you find something special, you just can’t wait.
In January of this year, Kyel asked Molly to join him for a work dinner. No details, other than it would be at one of her favorite places – Home Wine Kitchen. Work dinners of this caliber never happened, but after some emails he shared that his “boss had emailed” she was very excited. He had been busy at work, so Molly didn’t think much of a work related event, or that the night before the work dinner he was in meetings all day. How could she have known that Kyel was actually traveling all the way to Sikeston MO to ask her parents permission to marry their daughter? And how could she know that when the dinner date came around it would be completely opposite of what she’d been told? Sometimes the best things in life are the unexpected surprises.
When the date finally arrived, Molly & Kyel walked upstairs, and instead of being a big work event with many people in attendance, there was simply a table set for two. There was champagne, flowers, candles. The most romantic setting she had ever seen. He had his laptop with him “for work reasons”, however when he took it out he had a video that he had created about the two of them through the past couple years. It perfectly told their story. At the video’s end Kyel was down on one knee proposing. They cried, took photos, and of corse… she said yes.
The two are planning a May 2015 wedding. Enjoy a sneak peek at their gorgeous engagement session!!!
