It was the cold of winter when Anna, Derek, Roger, and I sat down over coffee to talk about their outdoor wedding while they were home for a visit. Everything sounded perfect, and that’s when I said it. “Now what is the plan if it rains?” Not stressed, not worried, and thinking only positively, Anna answered that they’d move everything under the tent and they weren’t going to worry about it. I figured she’d live on the west coast too long and maybe forgot about our crazy midwest weather, but they had a vision of how their wedding day would be – and there was nothing going to stop them from having an amazing outdoor wedding. Although when the day arrived it may have began to heavy drops of rain and tears, it ended as the very day they’d dreamed of and envisioned. Enjoy Anna & Derek’s wedding day!!!

She waited with her girls in the back room of the church. She was anxious. She’d dreamed of this day for as long as she could remember, and their wedding day was finally here. She peeked through the blinds to look outside and saw the hundreds of people waiting in line to get into church. “Oh my goodness” she said as she tried to imagine how all the people would fit. And a few minutes later, right there in the little town she grew up in, in a standing room only church, the doors opened and she saw him… and she knew it was finally here. The day she’d marry the love of her life. Enjoy Whitney & Seth’s wedding day!

There is NO denying it. Tori is 100%, PRIME TIME in love with Jeff. And you can bet that Jeff is over the moon for her. Sometimes, when you get around a couple, you can feel it. It’s a push and pull of emotions, a longing to be by the other’s side, it’s… electric. And before you jump into a line dance with your best girlfriends on the dance floor, let me clarify. Dramatic, emotional, intense. You can just FEEL the love.
He sent her flowers to her parent’s home and she quietly read the card and started to cry. She looked at them and smiled. Melissa loves wholeheartedly and doesn’t hold back. She gets touched by the small things and treasures the people she loves. And one can’t help but treasure her back. Which Derek does. Although he won’t tear up as easily as Melissa, nor will he lay out his affection so unabashedly. But his love is shown with strength, with protection, and subtle little moments, and it’s no wonder that all the women in his life (that being Melissa, his mother, and his sister) all adore him. Their dynamic when it is just the two of them complements one another completely and they have a special kind of love.
