Lindsay & Tyler are that sweet young couple, fresh and wide-eyed, happily in love. They are best friends and while it’s easy to see how in love they are – it’s even more easy to imagine them in love even at 90. The faces may change and their bodies will age, but the way he makes her smile, or the way he looks at her and you can see how taken he is with her will never fade. It’s a timeless love that legends are made of, and on 6/16/12 Lindsay walked down the aisle towards her future. Enjoy the beginning of a Happily Ever After…

It’s a fabulous thing when a stranger chooses you to capture your wedding day. The only thing better, is when a friend asks you. It’s such an honor when one of your most favorite people on the planet trusts you to be a part of such a special day. Knowing the couple’s relationship, getting the “We’re engaged!!!!” text, first hand watching the planning, texting and emailing about ideas, watching your friends dreams become reality – and then being there to capture it all is absolutely priceless. With this privilege comes a significant amount of categorical, unequivocal, irrefutable fear. We want to do an amazing job for every single couple we photograph, but the nature of photographing friends is a unique experience that brings a level of self critique and over analyzing. Representing their love story with photos, providing them with their legacy to show their children, grandchildren, etc. is always our job – but for friends it is also our gift, so it has to be extra special. As special as this amazing couple is to us! Enjoy the beautiful day of Amy & Todd!!
Christine and Juan were so excited about this day – it was impossible to not feel excited by osmosis. The ceremony and reception was packed with people and there wasn’t a person there who isn’t crazy about this couple. To know them is to love them. Their happiness and love is contagious. It felt like every single person there was someone that they cared for immensely. Like they could have had a wedding party of 275 people if it was feasible. (Seriously – thank you for not doing that) You could say how blessed the couple is to have so many people who love them and so many who would drop everything to help them out if they needed. We would say how blessed all those people are. Because they have friends as true, as inspiring, as loving as Christine and Juan. Their character is difficult to find, and just like their love and commitment to one another – when you find it, you never want to let it go.
Enjoy Christine and Juan’s wedding day!!!
Walking through the hotel where Amanda would be getting into her wedding dress, I wasn’t sure where I was going. But the second I walked out of the elevator onto their floor, I just followed the sounds of laughter and excitement. The moment I walked in I was greeted with hugs and excitement that I was there. And that’s just how Amanda, and her friends and family are. They great you with open arms, and are excited just because you are there. They treat you like family. Even though there was plenty of excitement – there was a cool calmness about Amanda. She was ready to marry the man of her dreams, ready to walk down the aisle towards him, ready to embark on their forever. Typically perhaps a little type A personality, Amanda let it all go that day and just enjoyed the day. Even when obstacles arose the smile stayed on her face and she never got stressed. Love was all that mattered.

Kelly and Grant will win you over within seconds. She is so upbeat, so happy, so excited for life. He’s calm, kind, and genuine. The combination of these two is such a perfect fit you can’t imagine either with anyone else. It’s as if they were made for one another. The perfect fit. They met at a bowling alley years before, and the road they traveled to get to this day wasn’t perfect, but there was something undeniable between them. Something that withstood time and obstacles. As she read the letter he wrote her and gave to her the morning of the wedding day, he recounted their journey and Kelly cried while reading it to her bridesmaids. Apologizing for mistakes in the past and promising the future of her dreams, she knew this was her forever and the beginning of the rest of their happily ever after she’d been dreaming of all that time. Dreams do come true. Enjoy Kelly & Grant’s wedding day!!
