She was ready to transfer schools. She’d all but made up her mind, and started looking over Christmas break. She decided to give it one final semester before she decided and with that she headed back. The first person she met when she came back from break was Tyler. There was a instant spark. An immediate connection. And after getting to know him a little better, she never thought about transferring again. In fact, she stopped coming home for the summers and so did he. Their hometowns were 10 hours away from one another, and they could barely handle spending a single day away from the other. It’s funny how finding THE person changes everything, and when both found that in one another – they were never going to let it go.

Amy’s best guy friend Caleb just happens to be Todd’s brother in law. That may seem like a random fact, but that just happens to be the one component of the story that made it all happen. Caleb insisted Amy & Todd would make a great couple, so trusting his judgement, Amy met he and Todd out one night. She flirted and he charmed her right back, even going so far as to pay the DJ 20 bucks to play her favorite dance song at the time – Lady Gaga’s “Poker Face”. When the night ended she figured she would never see Todd again. But thanks to social networking, he messaged her (he has the opposite story) and they got to know one another. When Todd came into her life in 2009, she was not looking for a relationship, but they both knew there was something special they couldn’t pass up.
They were kids in the same 4H group. He was quiet and mischievous, and she didn’t like that. They grew up going to different schools, but never hung out. Then they went to the same college together, in the same Ag. department, but still never hung out. Until that one night. Her friend Janna called her and told her to come out and have drinks. At first she declined, but she finally decided to let loose and join in the fun. Janna nonchalantly mentioned her cousin Kevin would be there. It wasn’t an incentive really, since she didn’t know him, but come to find out the evening was set up and Janna’s intention was to fix the two of them up. After a fun evening of flirting and talking, they exchanged numbers and haven’t gone a day without talking since.
When he came over to say hello, she didn’t recognize him at first. They’d met several years before, but because of his job, his appearance had to change. Once she realized who the man with the familiar smile was, they began catching up. By the end of the night, Mary & Tod had planned their first date. Tod, a father of two beautiful teenage girls was in some unfamiliar territory, but completely won her over that night on their date and they’ve been inseparable ever since.
She went to college with some of Neil’s friends. On a trip to visit them, they were all out and Lindsay met Neil for the first time. They hit it off and became friends, and when she was in town visiting, they’d always see one another. One night they’d joked about being married one day. Little did they know a couple years later they would be!
One night Neil asked Lindsay what she was doing Friday night. He was going to see a band at the Sagamon County Fair and he invited her along. She replied “I’ll only go if you pay.” She was kidding, but the night of the concert, he not only paid for her ticket, but danced with her like no one was watching and kissed her.
