They rode the bus together growing up, but the circles they ran in never crossed. She finally took a second look at number 48 while he was out on the football field. She made sure they officially met one another and as fate would have it, #48 gave her a ride home that very night. They were both nervous, so much so he froze when it was time to try to kiss her. She though it was sweet and he was being a gentleman, so she agreed to another date.

She was working at the Knotty Pine and he was a regular customer. That is, a regular customer on the days she was working only. She watched him from the kitchen and would hide and giggle any time he saw her staring at him. She thought he was cute, but didn’t know he thought the same.

Barb & Jon {engaged}

It may not have ever happened if it weren’t for Kelly. She was the one who really got the ball rolling. Her dad was dating Jon’s mom when she realized Jon would be a great match for her friend Barb. She asked Barb if she could set her up and after it was OK’d she made it happen. Set ups aren’t always as great as you’d hoped, but there was a connection almost immediately. She thought he was so tall and handsome and wondered how she’d be lucky enough to land this guy, but she pulled it off because he called to set up a date the very next day. Ever since they have been inseparable and as Kelly says – they are a match made in heaven.

Her sister told her that he was the incredibly sweet kind of guy who would find a way to compliment you even after working a 12 hour shift and looking your worst. “That sounds annoying. I hope he leaves me alone.” she said. And when she started working at the Pasta House with him, he did in fact leave her alone. And that was even more annoying.

Jessica P. {Pre-Bridal}

Pre Bridal sessions were a staple of wedding photography in years past. A portrait of the bride would be displayed at the wedding reception and would then adorn a wall in the bride’s family home. Modern day Pre Bridal sessions have often been replaced with Trash the Dress sessions where brides can get down and dirty and get more unique looks without having to worry about ruining their dress. Either way you look at it, any excuse to wear your wedding dress beyond just the day of is a good one. I personally love a pre bridal session as it gives a soon to be bride the opportunity to basically have a trial run before the wedding day. Jessica’s pre bridal helped her fine tune her birdcage veil and figure out some issues with her dress, but the best part was that it put her at ease on her wedding day.
