To say it was fireworks right from the start would be… partly true. Officially the first time they crossed paths she didn’t even notice him. But he definitely noticed her! On the way to watch the fireworks Alex shouted “Shot gun” and got into Aubrey’s cousin’s car. She couldn’t figure this forward guy out, but by the time the fireworks show started, so did a little bit of interest! They quickly became best friends, and eventually fell in love.

Christine and Juan were so excited about this day – it was impossible to not feel excited by osmosis. The ceremony and reception was packed with people and there wasn’t a person there who isn’t crazy about this couple. To know them is to love them. Their happiness and love is contagious. It felt like every single person there was someone that they cared for immensely. Like they could have had a wedding party of 275 people if it was feasible. (Seriously – thank you for not doing that) You could say how blessed the couple is to have so many people who love them and so many who would drop everything to help them out if they needed. We would say how blessed all those people are. Because they have friends as true, as inspiring, as loving as Christine and Juan. Their character is difficult to find, and just like their love and commitment to one another – when you find it, you never want to let it go.
Enjoy Christine and Juan’s wedding day!!!
Sometimes it’s the big occasions. Graduation, wedding days, engagement, new baby. And sometimes, it’s just something simple. An idea really. Just wanting to remember a certain time in your life, the way you were right then. During that period of your life. We go through life day to day, busy, swiftly missing the subtle moments that fill our lives with love. The life line that binds us together tightens and if we don’t stop every so often and just BE… together… we may miss it. So even if it’s a gloomy day, it’s so much better when it’s spent TOGETHER. Celebrating nothing more than your love.
That’s a Poltergeist refrence in honor of Halloween. Hopefully you all aren’t too old for one of the creepiest movies known to man. Tyra Banks says it too – which let’s face it – she can be scary as well. The point? A little lesson in photography for those of you out there who wonder why in the world Roger and I are constantly speaking about “the light”. You see, for photographers, it is ALL ABOUT THE LIGHT. Good light, bad light, ultimate light, harsh light, not enough light… theres about a ZILLION different lights.
Word at the ice rink eventually got back to him that Casey, the cute blonde that worked with him though he was cute. Clearly he agreed because he worked up the courage to ask her out. He beat around the bush and made small talk, but eventually he asked if she would come watch his hockey game and then let him take her to dinner. He asked a co-worker what her favorite restaurant was, and when they got to the steakhouse, she ordered chicken to seem low maintenance. She still feels that was pretty sly and that she totally fooled him!
